The Opportunity
New England Donor Services coordinates organ and tissue donation in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, the eastern counties of Vermont and Bermuda. They came to us to create the Aftercare website. A place where donor families could receive information and support as they navigate through their first year of loss. I was the lead on the project and it was incredibly personal to me, because at this time I knew that I needed a heart transplant. Creating a site that was easy to navigate, had a library of information and showed empathy to donor families was the main goal of this website.
